Gaga’s Brownies

Don’t be bitchin’ about the special ingredient (the chocolate), that chocolate goes way back to the early 1900’s and most grocery chains sell it.

Gaga’s (Jan’s Grandmother) Brownies

1 stick butter

1/2 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

2 oz Baker’s unsweetened chocolate

Grease a standard size brownie pan - 13 x 9

Preheat oven to 350

Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler

Add eggs, one at a time to sugar, and then add choc/butter mix

Add vanilla

Add flour

Mix well

Pour in greased brownie pan

Cook 20 minutes.

You can dust with powdered sugar if you want when they cool, but ours never last that long.
